Where to rent a motorcycle in Alanya?
I've been to Turkey a few times now, spent most of my trips in Alanya just lying around on the beach doing nothing. This time I'm actually planning to get out and explore the area properly, check out all those old ruins and ancient sites scattered around the region. I've noticed a ton of people cruising around on motorcycles over there, seems like the way to go for getting around those coastal roads and inland routes. Anyone know where I can find a decent bike rental once I get there?
Hotel staff can hook you up, though sometimes they send you to whoever gives them a commission rather than the best deal. Worth doing some research yourself so you're not overpaying for a rental. Better rates for exploring those ruins you're after.
Good call switching it up from just beach time, there's loads to see once you start moving around. The coastline's got some stunning spots you'd never find just staying at your resort. Easiest thing to do is ask whoever's running the front desk at your hotel when you arrive. Those guys know everyone in town, they've got connections with all the local rental spots and can point you toward places that aren't tourist traps charging double for beat-up scooters.
