At 16, he got into construction, starting with concrete work. He worked his way up to foreman and later took on supervisor roles at several other companies. In 2011, he started his first business focused on concrete construction. Since work was often slow during the winter, he began doing interior renovations with a close friend, who later became a co-owner of A1 Home Improvement.
